On April 27th, Chih Shan Junior High
invited college students from foreign countries to the school to share their cultures
and traveling experiences with the students. Stephanie from Ireland talked
about the literature, music, sports, typically Irish things (like Claddagh ring
and Celtic Crosses), food, drinks and some festivals (likeSt. Patrick’s Day) in Ireland. Pureum and Ms. Shin
from Korea introduced Korean culture in Mandarin, which impressed students a
lot. After the speech, the students hope that one day they have the chance to
visit Ireland and Korea in person.
