A total of eighty public junior high schools are
divided into six groups so that teachers from neighboring ones can attend the
workshop. The workshop is held to create an opportunity for English teachers to
exchange teaching ideas and practices. Thus, all the participants can reflect
on their own and gain some novel strategies to incorporate in their class. Those
who are assigned to share their work at the workshop will have to organize
their thoughts and prepare their PowerPoint slides in advance.

The convention that promotes important English education policies with regard to scheduled events for the following semester was held in Yu-Ying Junior High School today, with a total of eighty English teachers who are going to help Taichung City fulfill those requirements attending this meeting. Gloria Lin (林秀慧), who specializes in planning and organizing for the English Advisory Group, first gave a brief introduction to the job description of the Group so that all the participants can have a basic understanding of what to expect from the Group. Thus, all the members of the Group will provide our service when any of the teachers applies.
