It might be difficult to have your class go travelling abroad, but it would be easier if technology help do so. There are many websites and social communities which can help build an international class to invite learners from everywhere around the world to get together. If your class is non- Internet access, the exchange of postcards might bring surprises and fun from other countries.

Differentiation can be defined as:
“….identifying and addressing the different needs, interests and abilities of all learners to give them the best possible chance of achieving their learning goals” (DfES, 2004).

Do you differentiate your class? When do you do it and how do you do it? Why do you do it and is there any difference after you do it? Teachers always complain that no matter how much effort they try to help motivate students, the result is unsatisfying. Students always complain that no matter how much effort they try to get involved in English, they give up. Both sides do their best to teach and learn, but what makes them unhappy?

If the coursebook is unable to be designed for every student in the class, what can teachers do to help students of different learning abilities at the same time in the same class learn effectively? Pro. Lin provides lots of practical ideas and examples about cooperative learning, vocabulary learning, songs and movies, reading, and assessments. These knacks are helpful and fun. If we cannot change what we have to teach, why not change the way to teach?
