Have you ever tried reading or having your students read a poem during the class? Extensive reading is always time consuming in normal classes, especially poems due to their speical style or format; therefore, teachers might not have enough confidence to use poems as a main teaching resources. However, in Ms. Zheng's class, students not only enjoy reading, but practice writing poems with their group members.

Mr. Yeh is very enthusiastic at speaking , and that's why his passion successfully attracts students who are motivated in oral interaction to develop the paradise for English conversation. In this social club, students are able to talk and talk all in English, no matter about movies or any other daily issues. Without pressure, everyone is having fun speaking English!

Readers' theater is a very important scheduled competition in Taichung City. The competitors are chosen strictly by every school, which means that students have to be good enough to join this competition. However, in Li- Jen junior high school, every student is qualified for this activity, and readers' theater has become part of classes. Drafts could be problems if students have to create their own, yet Ms. Chang adopts the essays in the coursebook as the base to help students on one hand practice and review;on the other hand, save time creating their own drafts.
